galley open, there will be hydraulic shocks that hold it open when it's finished

A few tools my Grandfather left me. They were very useful today, both were still very sharp and fun to use.
Another picture of the planes. My Grandpa was an incredible man.

  1. She is looking great. Can tell you have put alot of effort into her. I saw a teardrop at the New Braunfels swap meet this weekend that left the galley open to the interior. Thought it was a great idea. You could be inside and access the galley or just interact with others through that space. Might even make it better ventilated. Are you going to do the same? Looks awesome. Will like to make mine open in the rear at some date...that's version 2 or 3.

    1. Thanks Dereck, yours looks awesome too. I am not leaving the galley open on this one, simply because I want the storage for clothing and food items. that was a hard decision to make but I purchased a fan-tastic fan and will have two windows. hopefully that will be enough.

funny you say version 2 or 3, because I definitely plan to build more too.

I just posted on my blog after an entire week of nothing. with any luck I will accomplish lots this weekend.
